Perception is a general, SFW fanzine themed around Demon Slayer's Five Senses (ie. Genya, Inosuke, Kanao, Tanjirou, Zenitsu) and their relations to each other. This project features canon, AUs, and manga spoilers.

What’s a zine/fanzine?
It’s a magazine made by and for fans of a certain character, series, concept; any theme imaginable!What can we expect to see?
There’ll be artwork, fanfictions, and merchandise in both physical and digital form.Will there be ships?
Because this is a general zine, there’ll be no romantic or sexual ships.Can I apply if I create NSFW content outside this zine?
Yes, but NSFW pieces aren’t allowed as samples in our applications.Can I apply if I’m a minor?
All contributors must be 18 years or older.Can I apply for multiple roles?
Yes, you can apply for and have multiple roles, but you’ll still be compensated equally with everyone else.If I’m accepted, can I create a piece with characters other than the Five Senses?

Because the theme is about their relations to one another, each piece must contain two to five of the Senses.How’ll contributors be compensated?
A free full digital bundle is guaranteed. If finances are adequate, then each contributor will receive one physical zine. Contributors may additionally purchase a maximum of three zines and three of each merch item at the production price + shipping. Merch artists may purchase as much of their work at the production price + shipping as they’d like.Where’ll the money from this project go?

General guidelines
All work must be original. AI-generated pieces are unacceptable. No hateful or discriminatory content is allowed. Samples containing shipping content, light gore, and/or mild nudity are fine, but they cannot exceed the levels seen in Demon Slayer. Portfolios may contain NSFW and/or triggering content, but please mention it during the application process.Previous zine experience isn’t required.Please verify that your links are accessible. Google Drive files can be checked by opening the link in incognito. Mods won’t contact you regarding faulty links.You must have a Discord account for communication purposes.
Artist guidelines
Samples
– Are three of your best completed pieces, representing what you can make for the zine.
– May not be NSFW.
– Must have at least one piece with a complete, detailed background if you’re applying as a page artist. Realism isn’t required.
– Will preferably feature Demon Slayer, but this isn’t mandatory.
– Must be scanned in a high resolution if they’re traditional art.Portfolios
– Are a collection representing the range of your work and will be used as tiebreakers during application judging.
– May contain WIPs and sketches.

– Must have at least one Demon Slayer story.
